Service Description

Welcome to the booking page for all Dorset County Hospital Staff. We provide an On-site, face-to-face. Counselling to support you through difficult and challenging times. We can also offer both Video and Telephone sessions where needed or preferred. Please note that DCHFT place a limit of six sessions on any one presenting issue, however, your therapist will explain how continuity of support can be maintained where needed: in brief, this could be an application to extend the number of sessions offer through DCH, or referral to our private practice with possible support from Dorset Wellbeing Trust as appropriate. You will be assured a safe and supportive place to talk about and explore your worries or anxieties or any other areas of your choice, working together to meet your needs in the here and now and moving forward with resilience. Please note this is an independent service, offered free to all DCHFT NHS staff. NOTE on CONFIDENTIALITY: We adhere to the BACP code of ethics for all counselling. To be clear we "do not" report in any way on your attendance to your employer or any third party without your express consent to our request. Cancellation Policy

To reschedule your appointment please contact your therapist or telephone us on 01202 830247 or 01305 263285. We respectfully draw your attention to our cancellation policy which is 48 hours' notice before your appointment time. In the event you choose to cancel your appointment within 48 hours, we will ask you to make payment in full for the session. Please see our full terms and conditions for more details.
