Open to new Clients: Yes

Emily is an integrative counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). She works with young people aged 11+ and adults, offering a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space to explore whatever feels important.

Her approach is grounded in the belief that the counselling space belongs to the client. Emily works at your pace, without pressure or expectation, supporting you to make sense of your thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a way that feels manageable and meaningful. She understands that reaching out can feel difficult and emphasises building a trusting and respectful therapeutic relationship.

Emily supports clients with a range of challenges, often focusing on identity, self-worth, and how life experiences shape the way we see ourselves and others. This may include working through life transitions, relationship difficulties, or experiences of loss and acceptance. She also has experience supporting individuals who are neurodivergent, including those with ADHD and AuDHD, as well as those exploring gender, sexuality, and broader aspects of identity.

Her style is warm, grounded, and genuine. Alongside offering a space to be heard and understood, Emily may gently challenge patterns or perspectives where it feels helpful, always with care and respect. Her aim is to support you in developing a deeper understanding of yourself, strengthening your sense of self, and moving forward in a way that feels authentic and sustainable.

In addition to her counselling work, Emily holds an ICF Level 2 qualification in Life Coaching, which she draws upon where appropriate to support clarity and direction, while always keeping the counselling relationship at the centre of the work.
