Assessment for Counselling Support @ Poundbury Therapy Room This option gives you a 45-minute session with an experienced professional counsellor. The session is designed to answer any questions you may have, explore how therapy can work for you, and help you determine the right path. Once we have decided to move forward together, this initial assessment will give us a good understanding of what is involved and how to move forward with your support. At this meeting, the affordability of ongoing sessions will be discussed. Based on this discussion and once paired with an appropriate Therapist, the final cost will be confirmed by email. (On occasion, the therapist may discuss direct payment of fees with you at your first appointment, but you will always know the cost in advance of the event.) The cost of the assessment is £45. The cost of subsequent sessions could be higher or lower based on who you see and any funding support that may be available to you. If, at the end of this assessment session, we tell you that we cannot work with you for any reason, you can request a full refund of this assessment fee. ---- Please Note---- We do ask for payment in advance for all initial assessment sessions. When life feels overwhelming, and you require a friendly ear, or when the pressures of parenting and school challenges weigh heavy on your shoulders, it is only natural to seek understanding and support. At Wellbeing Practice, we provide parents with the guidance and assistance they need to navigate the intricacies of raising children. This assessment will provide you with a few ideas and insights that may prove helpful, along with a report of what help and support we can provide moving forward. Often, we are requested to provide reports to support funding applications for various support agencies. Our aim in this assessment is to deliver you information, strategy and hope, a clear view of available support, delivering the message that you are not alone. There is no obligation beyond the assessment.
