Welcome to the assessment booking page for all Dorset County Hospital Staff.

This option gives you a 45 min session with an experienced professional counsellor, designed to answer any questions you may have, explore how therapy can work for you and help you determine the right path. Once we have decided to move forward together, this initial assessment will provide us with a good understanding of what is involved and how to move forward with your support. At this meeting, the affordability of ongoing sessions will be discussed with the final cost being confirmed by email based on this discussion and once paired with an appropriate Therapist. (On occasions, the therapist may discuss direct payment of fees with you at your first appointment but you will always know in advance of the event the cost.) The cost of the assessment is £45, the cost of subsequent sessions could be higher or lower based on who you see, and any funding support that may be available to you. If for any reason at the end of this assessment session, we tell you that we cannot work with you, then you can request a full refund of this assessment fee. ---- Please Note---- We do ask for payment in advance for all initial assessment sessions, the payment options are included in the booking form.
