Therapist (*Professional Studies)

Open to new Clients: Yes

*Lyn is at present pursuing professional studies to enhance her knowledge and improve her therapeutic abilities. This involves receiving tutoring, along with mentorship and supervision, which all our therapists enjoy. Our commitment to offering clients a safe and professional counselling experience remains unchanged. Should any part of the study require direct client involvement, it will be communicated beforehand, with confidentiality continuing to be a top priority.

Daily life can become challenging for a variety of reasons, it could be one thing that feels all-consuming, occupying our mind and attention or a collection of life events that have accumulated over time that has become overwhelming.

I am a qualified Person Centred Therapist registered with the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy). I have knowledge and experience working with bereavement and loss, domestic abuse and neurodiversity (Autism/ADHD). I work with adults 18+. My main counselling approach is in person-centred therapy.

Person-centred therapy allows you the client to have control over the content and pace of sessions. Giving opportunity for you to explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe, warm, confidential space gives you the freedom to be heard without judgement and be able to express yourself without compromise. Talking through and reflecting on thoughts and feelings can help you unravel and organise your thoughts helping to lighten the load.

Together we can explore the difficulties you are experiencing in a space that provides you time to focus on yourself. My focus is on you, offering individual support that can be adapted to work best for you, leading to increased self-confidence and skills to cope with navigating life's challenges.

I look forward to working with you.
